I'm a Southern gal who loves life, my husband and our family (which, to date, includes 13 grandchildren). I enjoy being with friends and family. But I also like being alone and thinking up plots for future books. I've published two novels, both mysteries, and I'm working on my third. For more about my books, visit me at www.sallyroseveare.com. If you ever hear me say, "I'm bored," please get me to the ER immediately! Paddling my kayak and snapping pictures of the critters I see relaxes me. Beach music has the opposite effect--when I hear those old "doo-wops" I want to dance.

One Lovely Blog Award

Because my friend Becky Mushko honored me by passing the One Lovely Blog Award to me and mentioned that I take nice photos, I guess I'd better post a few for all to see! Hope you like these.

I discovered a few months ago that I can get nice pictures through the windows of a moving car. Granted, not all are keepers, but with a good digital camera it is certainly worth a try. I snapped the above photos through the front windshield on 1/8/09 as my husband and I traveled to Lexington to visit our daughter and her family. I was NOT driving!

When I took this picture, I was sitting in the back seat of a moving car as we traveled Route 311 on our way to Paint Bank, Virginia. I snapped it through the left side window. The one below was taken through the glass at the Atlanta Aquarium.

The One Lovely Blog Award has a pretty graphic that goes with it, but for some reason I can't post it on my blog, nor am I able to link anything! Linking was no problem until Google became involved. My husband says I'm past due for upgrading my computer and he will do it for me today. Yay!

As for passing my most prestigious award on, I'm still pondering. Will let you know.
