How could anyone look at the front cover of Kimberly J. Dalferes' book, read the back cover that says, "Have you ever wondered if the life of the woman standing next to you in the check-out line is as weird as yours?" and not want to read the book? Hooked now, I settled back in my recliner and began to read.
BOOK REVIEW: I WAS IN LOVE WITH A SHORT MAN ONCE by
Kimberly J. Dalferes is a laugh-out-loud book, and yet a really sweet book,
too. I’m so glad I read it. I almost didn’t because it’s a memoir and I seldom
read memoirs. Dalferes writes openly about growing up, her outrageous college
escapades, child birth and child rearing. You learn that she loves life, her
family, and her friends. And you know what else? When you get to the end you
find out how the book got its unique title. I can hardly wait for her next book
to come out.
